چکیده

Rapid and accurate detection of phenolic wastewater from industries has created global concern. Herein, core–shell magnetic cellulose nanocrystal supported MOF (Fe3O4/CNC@ZIF-8) with robust peroxidase-like activity was synthesized tannic acid as modifier bridge. The peroxidase-mimic catalytic as-prepared Fe3O4/CNC@ZIF-8 further investigated using o-phenylenediamine (OPD) peroxidase substrates in the presence H2O2. Moreover, experimental conditions were optimized kinetic analysis results showed that had higher affinity towards both substrate OPD H2O2 than horseradish (HRP). Finally, a phenol colorimetric assay linear range 2–200 µM limit 0.316 constructed. mechanism by fluorescence test generated ·OH proved to act crucial role produce quinoid radicals. Additionally, material excellent stability recyclability ease separation. These suggest may be one promising candidates mimic for phenol.

Peroxidase-like activity of chitosan stabilized silver nanoparticles for visual and colorimetric detection of glucose.

Chitosan stabilized silver nanoparticles (Ch-Ag NPs) were successfully synthesized by a one-step method and were found to possess intrinsic peroxidase-like activity, could catalytically oxidize substrates, such as TMB, and OPD, by H(2)O(2) to produce a typical colour reaction such as from colorless to blue for TMB and from colorless to red for OPD. Our results demonstrate that the Ch-Ag NPs exh...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

A Novel Colorimetric Immunoassay Utilizing the Peroxidase Mimicking Activity of Magnetic Nanoparticles

A simple colorimetric immunoassay system, based on the peroxidase mimicking activity of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs), has been developed to detect clinically important antigenic molecules. MNPs with ca. 10 nm in diameter were synthesized and conjugated with specific antibodies against target molecules, such as rotaviruses and breast cancer cells. Conjugation of the MNPs with antibodies (...
